Jaan Kristjan Utno (pronounced like yawn, but with a bit more excitement) is an Estonian Cinematographer currently based out of Los Angeles, California. His primary work is in the motion picture industry - having a solid background in camera-work as well as lighting and rigging, UTNO stands for an efficient yet flourishing finish to a story you need telling.
He began collecting experiences and inhaling knowledge in 2008, when he invested in his first DSLR camera. He continues to chase the next story to tell, one frame at a time.
Since arriving in Los Angeles in 2015, Jaan has surrounded himself with like-minded individuals who execute their skills at the top of their department. His dedicated team in art, camera, grip, lighting and post-production has seen projects through time and time again, winning awards in the process.
Commercial clients include Razer Gaming, Red Bull Music Academy, ColorChip, among others.
